Context

As part of the Central Bank of Ireland’s increased focus on the strategic capabilities of Credit Unions (CU) and their management, the role of CU Head of Finance is now subject to more intensive regulatory supervision.

Consequently, the CU Head of Finance is expected to have a high level of knowledge and skills to perform their tasks and demonstrate their development. This course has been specially designed to develop and consolidate the competencies of a Credit Union Head of Finance.

2019 dates and times

Following a successful course in 2018, we are commencing on Thursday March 7 and running on the following Thursdays from 09:00 to 12:30. There are no sessions planned for Thursday March 21, April 11 or April 25. April 25 is a study and case study week and also coincides with the post-Easter midterm break:

Time commitment

In order to benefit from the classroom sessions, we expect circa 1 hour of pre-reading, post-module assessment and learning reinforcement for the first 5 modules and circa 6 hours of a case study between modules 5 and 6.

Tuition Costs
