What you will be doing

You can expect to be a key member of our Payroll team (within the Tax Department) providing the following services:

  • Co-ordinating, managing and executing the delivery of payroll services to a portfolio of clients
  • Registering employers for payroll taxes
  • Processing starters and leavers registrations
  • Processing of payroll calculations and payroll taxes due to the Revenue Commissioners taking into account variable pay, BIKs (including share awards), other additions, and all deductions including pension, cycle to work, tax saver etc.
  • Providing payslips and reports and summaries to clients as requested/required
  • Filing of monthly payroll submissions together with setting up payment instructions on the client’s behalf in respect of payroll taxes due
  • Dealing with payroll queries arising from clients and various administrative duties with respect to invoicing clients
  • Manage the payroll inbox to ensure queries are answered in a timely manner and filed appropriately.

Who are we looking for?

  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a payroll bureau and / or in a professional Firm environment providing payroll services.
  • Experience and proficiency working with Sage Micropay and Excel, and IPASS qualified or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of all aspects of Payroll processing, including understanding the treatment of all pay elements such as Pensions, Bik etc.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills. Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Possess the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
