Employee & Client Engagement Executive (Corporate Internship)

EisnerAmper Ireland are recruiting a Corporate Intern – Employee & Client Engagement Executive as part of our EAI Corporate Internship, a 9 month to 1-year fully paid internship which will give you an opportunity to kick start your career with real-world, hands-on experience, in a firm where dedication and commitment are at the forefront.

As part of this internship, you will get the opportunity to work closely with Partners and Senior Management from day 1. You will receive comprehensive on the job training as well as great exposure to industry knowledge. For this role, we are looking for high calibre applicants from any degree or discipline, who are passionate and driven towards building a career in our rapidly growing Firm.

This internship is a fully paid fixed term contract with an opportunity to interview for a contract extension at the end of the internship programme.

What you will be doing:

You can expect to be a key member of our SET team:

HR

  • Recruitment:
  • Supporting the development of job descriptions and advertising vacancies in all our channels (e.g. Firm’s website, Irish Jobs, LinkedIn, professional bodies, colleges, updating the social media channels, etc.).
  • Screening applications and issuing correspondence to candidates
  • Conducting reference checking and any other recruitment correspondence
  • Assisting in the planning and executing the graduate career fairs
  • HR Operations & Projects:
  • Liaising with relevant professional bodies regarding trainee enrolment, training contract and exam registration;
  • Supporting the onboarding process and maintaining relevant onboarding documents
  • Coordinating exams booking and liaising with Internal Finance in relation to exams fee processing for trainees and non-trainees of the Firm.
  • Assisting with HR projects and any other ad hoc tasks that may arise

Events

  • Assisting in the planning and executing of Firm wide events
  • Supporting the logistical and administrative preparation for the yearly EAI Academy
  • Supporting all required arrangements for internal and external training e.g. booking venue, preparing courses, liaising with providers, post-training review (when required)
  • Collaborating with colleagues in the HR and Marketing teams and other relevant stakeholders to deliver quality internal and external events.
  • Ensuring events align with our organisational goals and culture and are effective in enhancing employee and client engagement.
  • Providing research on venues and event creative elements, including the creation of proposals. This could include site visits, meeting external suppliers, obtaining quotes.
  • Coordinating logistics such as the agenda, attendee invites, venue, seating, dining, event entertainment, including guest speakers etc.
  • Managing and overseeing firm events on the day of, including problem-solving, directing event set-up, communicating with staff, and coordinating with vendors.
  • Providing onsite support – acting as the point of contact for all event stakeholders.

Who are we looking for?

  • 1-2 years of employment experience
  • College degree level 7 or level 8
  • Superb organisational and execution skills
  • Structured approach to undertaking work and reporting
  • Excellent computer skills within Microsoft Office, especially Outlook
  • Ability to handle a busy workload and prioritise work with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highly proactive, able to work autonomously, make decisions and use your own initiative
  • An outstanding flexible work ethic and a commitment to being the best
  • A team player who enjoys helping others; and
  • An innovator who is always looking to do things better.

We have adopted a hybrid working model to provide a combination of office and remote working facilities for our team. We are delighted to have the infrastructure in place to facilitate both remote working and working in the office and also to facilitate departmental meet ups, to learn from, work together and connect with our colleagues on an ongoing basis.
