We are seeking to recruit an IT Engineer to join the Service Excellence Team in our rapidly growing Firm. Our Service Excellence Team ensures all aspects of the Firm operate smoothly and efficiently.

The IT Engineer, reporting to the Head of Operations, will be responsible for implementing and managing our IT infrastructure. This is a role that will enable you to progress your career in a highly collaborative and supportive team.

What you will be doing:

As the IT Engineer, your role will include:

  • Primary IT contact for employees of the firm ensuring a high level of quality service and responsiveness;
  • Working to maintain the IT infrastructure in line with the NIST principles;
  • Working on the day-to-day management, monitoring, maintenance and supporting the technical administration of all internal systems;
  • Ensuring all IT risks/vulnerabilities for critical services are known, documented, formally assessed, and mitigating controls are put in place, monitored and reported on;
  • Conduct routine technology evaluations with the purpose of optimising the security, dependability, and effectiveness of all EisnerAmper’s IT assets
  • Keep Microsoft infrastructure elements and applications current, via proactive planning, approval, and professional management of necessary updates
  • Ensure all Microsoft infrastructure components and applications are up to date and that necessary changes are proactively planned, approved, and professionally managed;
  • Responsible for all deployed Microsoft InTune MDM, security, app management, compliance management and access control solutions;
  • Work with the Operations team and key vendors, to ensure proper IT service levels, security, and compliance standards, are operational and maintained;
  • Ensure the implementation of robust technical and organizational measures to protect personal data; and
  • Ensuring that all employees receive regular training on IT security and any other relevant areas

The context of your role:

As the IT Engineer, you will be a key member of the Service Excellence Team which plays a key role in supporting, controlling and driving the business in achieving the Firm’s strategic goals and objectives. You will report into the Head of Operations who works closely with all Departments and the Senior Management team.

We operate a best-in-class IT system which is ISO 27001:2022 (Information Security Management System) certified. Additionally, we are ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environment) certified. You will be working with a team in a supportive environment which has access to third party IT consultant support

  • Technical – technical knowledge of auditing and financial reporting standards;
  • Initiative – ability to take the initiative, work with limited supervision (although, we will be there to support you);

  • Flexibility – willingness to adapt to varying and changing client demands; and
  • Attitude – motivated, hardworking and evidence of having excelled at something in your personal life to date.

Required Experience:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years in a similar managerial/technical role with focus specifically on ICT operations;
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, networking protocols, and IT security.
  • Experience with server administration, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience in technologies including Azure, Active Directory, Office 365 Suite;
  • Proven knowledge of the following standard(s) and framework(s);
  • ISO/IEC 27001 information security management systems (ISMS) Standard
  • NIST Cybersecurity Framework

Location:

All roles are currently capable of operating remotely in the current environment. We have a hybrid working model to provide a combination of office and remote working facilities for our team.
