Carina Myles

As Partner in our Governance, Risk & Compliance Group, Carina advises financial services providers on risk, regulatory and compliance-related matters.  Carina supports clients throughout the regulatory engagement lifecycle and specialises in the design and implementation of risk and compliance frameworks.

Carina provides secondment solutions to operationalise risk and compliance functions thereby providing both insight and bandwidth to PCF role holders. Carina has hands-on practical experiencing working with Credit Union’s leading regulatory change programs including Operational Resilience and Risk Management.  Carina is our regulatory change expert working closely with our clients on DORA and ESG.  Carina is leading our ESG solutions and has recently been a keynote speaker at the Insurance Ireland INED Council Forum on the topic of ESG and the Compliance Institute on the topic of Operational Resilience / DORA.

Carina has over 20 years’ experience of designing and developing risk, compliance, and control frameworks; leading regulatory change programs such as GDPR, Operational Resilience, and leading large scale business transformation programs across EMEA & India.

Education, previous work experience 

Carina joined EisnerAmper Ireland from a large financial services and investment firm where she held a number of senior leadership positions including Head of Business Change; Regulatory Compliance GDPR Lead; and Head of Operational Control & Compliance. Previously, Carina was Head of Fund Compliance for a large Irish bank.

Carina holds a Degree in Law & Business (Hons) from Griffith College Dublin and an MBA (Hons) from Dublin Business School. Carina also holds Professional Qualifications including Licentiate of the Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland (LCOI), Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA), Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection and is a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner.

Carina’s industry representation includes Chair of the Compliance Institute’s Funds Working Group and former Chair of Irish Funds GDPR Working Group.
