Emma Hodgins

Emma is an Assistant Manager in the firm’s Tax Team. Emma provides Corporation Tax, Income Tax and VAT compliance services to clients in the Financial Services, International Business and Domestic Irish Corporate markets.

Education and Work Experience

Emma completed a Bachelor of Business Studies with French degree from University of Limerick (UL). During her studies, Emma completed an internship with an international pharmaceutical company, gaining valuable insight into international business.  Emma also spent several summers working in an accounting practice in Galway that introduced her to VAT, Income and Corporation Tax.

While studying, Emma worked part-time in the retail industry. Emma’s multiple years of retail service gave her a brilliant opportunity to build invaluable customer service and time-management skills.

Emma is currently commencing work towards the completion of the ACA qualification with Chartered Accountants Ireland.

Personal interests

Originally from Tynagh, Co. Galway, Emma has a great interest in travelling, having just spent her summer in Canada. Emma loves to experience different cultures and learn new languages.

In her spare time, Emma enjoys playing camogie with her local team and supporting the local camogie and hurling teams at local and county levels.
