We are seeking a business driven and self-motivated Risk & Regulatory Manager, ideally with a professional services background.  The candidate should be comfortable in delivering across industry client sectors and product lines, specifically Governance, Risk and Compliance which includes Risk & Regulatory.

What you will be doing:

As the Risk & Regulatory Manager, your role will include: 

  • As part of the Risk and Regulatory team, assist with leading the successful delivery of a wide variety of engagements, including the development of client relationships in order to enhance our reputation and brand. 
  • Providing compliance, risk consulting advice to clients. 
  • Preparing detailed reports outlining risk and compliance findings and recommendations. 
  • Execute monitoring and testing of controls and designs of different business functions in the areas of compliance and risk management. 
  • Developing compliance and risk frameworks in line with regulatory requirements across industry sectors. 
  • Supporting technical queries from clients. 
  • Staying abreast of financial regulations and compliance requirements set by regulatory bodies such as the CBI and European regulatory authorities. 
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes and business objectives and use this knowledge on assignments. 
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining risk and compliance findings and recommendations benchmarked to regulatory requirements. 
  • Help clients to navigate regulatory changes and implement required modifications to relevant policies, processes and systems. 
  • Lead and manage consulting projects, ensuring all deliverables are met within scope, time and budget constraints. 
  • Assisting management in strategic business development activities, including identifying client needs, opportunities and working on proposals for new business 
  • Working on client site and/ or remotely as part of client project teams 
  • Reporting to on-site and off-site EAI Management.

Manager Benefits

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience specifically in compliance, risk in practice or industry or may consider internal audit experience. 
  • Qualified Compliance or part-qualified with significant relevant experience 
  • Qualifications that may be considered include: Internal Audit / PRINCE 2 or other project management skills. 

Key competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Attention to detail when managing projects.  
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels from C-Suite to staff. 
  • Ensure quality and timely service is delivered to clients. 
  • Be self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative. 
  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills and excellent time management skills. 
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • High standard of IT literacy with a track record of using the full MS Office suite.

The Team delivers a variety of services to our clients’ who are based across a wide range of sectors including Regulated Financial Services but not limited to:

The Role:

We are looking for candidates who are fully qualified Compliance Professionals (or may have a background in Risk and Compliance or Internal Audit) with distinct and relevant experience of the best practice methodologies and standards underpinning Compliance and Risk Frameworks and consultancy delivery.

We have adopted a hybrid working model to provide a combination of office and remote working facilities for our team. We are delighted to have the infrastructure in place to facilitate both remote working and working in the office and also to facilitate departmental meet ups, to learn from, work together and connect with our colleagues on an ongoing basis.
