Shane Foley

Shane is a Director in the Firm’s Audit Department, specializing in delivering audit and assurance services to financial services clients, with a particular emphasis on the asset management sector.

With extensive experience leading audit engagements for clients reporting under FRS, IFRS, and US GAAP, Shane has managed a variety of complex engagements, including those involving EU PIEs, PCAOB, and SOX compliance. In addition to asset management, Shane has worked with clients across a range of other industries, such as Banking, Leasing, Structured Finance, Construction, and Life Sciences. 

Education, previous work experience

Shane is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland and holds a Master’s in Accounting, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin (UCD). 

Before joining EisnerAmper Ireland, Shane was part of the Financial Services Group at a Big 4 firm in both Dublin and Melbourne, where he primarily focused on international asset management clients.
