We were delighted to recently welcome Laura Cameron, Business Development Manager ACCA, to speak to our ACCA Trainees....
At EisnerAmper Ireland, we design solutions to support our community. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is integral to how we do business and manage interactions, not just with our employees and clients but also our wider community and society as a whole. As a professional services firm, demonstrating ethical high performance in all aspects of our work and how we run our firm is fundamental to our success.
We operate beyond legislative obligations and statutory instruments through incorporating a CSR strategy that drives continuous improvement within four core dimensions of the CSR concept (i.e. Marketplace, Workplace, Community and Environment).
We strive to embed best in class CSR practices into our entire business operations in an impactful, measurable and sustainable manner.
We strive to continously build our reputation and trust as thought leaders with our existing and potential clients, industry colleagues and partners by increasing our participation in key industry events, conferences and groups. We achieve this through Partner representation on various industry expert committees, regulatory authority committees and industry associations and by hosting periodic industry & technical update events; facilitating knowledge sharing with our industry colleagues.
In achieving the above, we aim to improve the business and regulatory environments through communication and regulatory input, ultimately making businesses better.
At EisnerAmper Ireland, we design & deliver sustainable solutions to support our local community in the following three areas:
1. Employment creation and skills development
We create practitioners, not just accountants. Our trainees are involved in all elements of practice management from day one, including engaging and working closely with those in our community. See our careers page for more information.
2. Community Engagement & Employee Involvement through volunteering
Each year, EisnerAmper Ireland trainees and senior staff alike participate in Junior Achievement, supporting schools across the country in inspiring and motivating young people to realise their potential by valuing education and understanding how to succeed in the world of work. 3. Charity Partnership, Philanthropy & Sponsorship
We contribute to our local community. We sponsor local charities and we are active members of industry and civic groups. We actively support basis.point, the Irish Fund industry’s initiative to improve educational opportunities for those in need in Ireland, particularly young people. We also, are proud to be corporate partners with LauraLynn Children’s Hospice. EisnerAmper is partnered with LauraLynn, helping them to fundraise and support children and their families from all 26 counties with the aim of enhancing the quality of life for families in LauraLynn’s care.
Our people are critical to our success and we strive to nurture and leverage the talent and unique ability of each individual member of our team. In this regard, EisnerAmper Ireland has a world-class focus on personal growth and development. This is reflected in our strong emphasis on employee health and well-being, work-life balance and reward and recognition initiatives.
Some of the benefits of working with EisnerAmper Ireland include:
We take an integrated approach to environmental management, with robust Firm initiatives put in place to encourage the fostering of a more sustainable environment. Examples of these initiatives include:
Commute to work scheme – We encourage and promote a green environment and the reduction of fossil fuel emissions through encouraging staff usage of pollution-free modes of transport. As such, all EisnerAmper Ireland employees avail of the opportunity to take part in the Firm’s Cycle to Work Scheme.
Paperless office – The Firm strives towards a paperless environment, with all documents saved and shared on our secure internal cloud-based document storage and collaboration system, reducing the need for printing.
Recycling – All of our waste paper is shredded and recycled confidentially with all toner cartridges, batteries, cardboard and plastic containers recycled responsibly, reducing negative impacts on the environment.
Energy management – We maintain a proactive approach to energy management by taking steps to reduce our carbon footprint. In this regard, we have procedures in place to ensure that all electronics are switched off outside of business hours and over weekends and holidays.
