As Head of Strategy & Innovation, Alastair is responsible for shaping the Firm’s strategic direction, driving innovative change and identifying new market and growth opportunities. Through this role, Alastair also contributes to the development and expansion of our partner group.
Alastair is Executive Chair of EisnerAmper Ireland and a board member of EisnerAmper Global, a specialist network of independent member firms operating via global international trading and financial services hubs.
Alastair previously held a number of board and committee roles with Chartered Accountants Ireland – these roles included membership of the Regulatory Policy Board; membership of the Professional Standards Committee; and Vice-Chair of the Quality Assurance Committee.
Alastair has a B.Comm. Degree (Banking & Finance) from University College Dublin. He trained as a Chartered Accountant with Schnittger & Associates, a Dublin based firm of Chartered Accountants, specialising in the provision of financial and regulatory advice to Irish and German owned businesses. Alastair subsequently joined Deloitte in 1998 as an Assurance & Advisory Manager in the Firm’s Financial Services group. At Deloitte, Alastair gained experience advising financial services clients including multinational fund and property fund entities.
