As Partner and Head of Accounting & Compliance, Jennifer leads a specialist team in the delivery of company incorporations, set up and ongoing accounting and compliance services to corporates doing business in Ireland and Europe.
Jennifer has significant experience in accounting, company secretarial compliance, audit and advisory services. Jennifer orchestrates all elements of Firm’s Accounting & Compliance service offering from setup to execution, from scheduling and budgeting through to the successful delivery of finalised management accounts and relevant tax returns.
As Head of Accounting & Compliance, Jennifer provides guidance to all staff on best practices and oversees a portfolio of 60 plus clients operating in sectors such as financial services, manufacturing and distribution, property & private equity and IT.
Jennifer also leads the provision of company secretarial services to a portfolio of clients. This includes company incorporations and assisting companies to set up operations in Ireland. As well as annual compliance obligations, which include filing annual returns and financial statements with the Companies Registration Office, the company secretarial team maintains the required registers for companies, issuing share certificates and extending ARD’s.
Jennifer oversees the preparation of financial statements for a range of companies, including Irish corporates, Irish subsidiaries of International clients and Financial Services entities, where her team prepare the management accounts. This team will liaise with the internal and external auditors to assist the client with the audit process. Where the financial statements are unaudited, Jennifer’s team will prepare and finalise the unaudited financial statements.
Jennifer also leads EisnerAmper Ireland’s CSR Committee and all CSR initiatives within the Firm. Jennifer acts as a screener for the Published Accountants Awards for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and recently participated in a focus group in relation to an ethics research project that the Institute of Chartered Accountants are currently carrying out
Jennifer holds a first-class honours degree in Law and Accounting from the University of Limerick. She is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland (FCA) and a qualified AITI Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA). Jennifer is a member of both Chartered Accountants Ireland and the Irish Taxation Institute and also holds a certificate in FRS102. Jennifer has acted as a screener for the Published Accountants Awards for Chartered Accountants Ireland for a number of years.
Jennifer previously worked for KPMG, Dublin in the Firm’s Business Development Services Department. While at KPMG, Jennifer gained significant experience in the preparation of financial statements and audits for small and large companies in the pharmaceutical, information technology and retail sectors.
