Jennifer is a Partner in the Firm’s International Business department and leads a specialist team in the delivery of company incorporations, set up and ongoing accounting and compliance services to corporates doing business in Europe through Ireland. This involves the provision of services to International clients locating their business in Ireland for the first time, but similarly caters to a series of well-established Irish clients.
As a Partner in the Firm’s International Business department, Jennifer manages a portfolio of clients doing business in and through Ireland. Jennifer has significant experience in accounting, company secretarial compliance, audit and advisory services, and utilises this knowledge in overseeing and managing circa 15 staff.
Jennifer is the Firm’s Head of Outsourcing and orchestrates all elements of the service from setup to execution, from scheduling and budgeting through to the successful delivery of finalised management accounts and relevant tax returns, i.e. VAT, Moss, VIES, etc. As Head of Outsourcing, Jennifer provides guidance to all staff on best practices and oversees a portfolio of 60 plus clients operating in sectors such as financial services, manufacturing and distribution, property & private equity and IT. Jennifer also works closely with the Service Excellence Team, overseeing all the engineering activities associated with outsourcing services and ensuring that all related SOPs are compliant with the Firm’s Quality Management System.
Jennifer also leads the provision of company secretarial services to a portfolio of c. 70 clients. This includes company incorporations and assisting companies to set up operations in Ireland. As well as annual compliance obligations, which include filing annual returns and financial statements with the Companies Registration Office, the company secretarial team maintains the required registers for companies, issuing share certificates and extending ARD’s.
Jennifer also oversees the preparation of financial statements for a range of companies, including Irish corporates, Irish subsidiaries of International clients and Financial Services entities, where her team prepare the management accounts. This team will liaise with the internal and external auditors to assist the client with the audit process. Where the financial statements are unaudited, Jennifer’s team will prepare and finalise the unaudited financial statements.
Jennifer leads EisnerAmper Ireland’s CSR Committee and all CSR initiatives within the Firm.
Jennifer acts as a screener for the Published Accountants Awards for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and recently participated in a focus group in relation to an ethics research project that the Institute of Chartered Accountants are currently carrying out.
Jennifer is also a seconded employee to one of the Firm’s largest clients in the financial services industry.
Jennifer holds a first class honours degree in Law and Accounting from the University of Limerick. She is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland (FCA) and a qualified AITI Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA). Jennifer is a member of both Chartered Accountants Ireland and the Irish Taxation Institute and also holds a certificate in FRS102. Jennifer has acted as a screener for the Published Accountants Awards for Chartered Accountants Ireland for a number of years.
Jennifer previously worked for KPMG, Dublin in the Firm’s Business Development Services Department. While at KPMG, Jennifer gained significant experience in the preparation of financial statements and audits for small and large companies in the pharmaceutical, information technology and retail sectors.
Jennifer is an active member of Old School Badminton Club. Other interests include spending time with her two young children, reading and going to boogie bounce classes.
