Pauric is a Supervisor in the Firm’s Audit team. He provides a range of audit, accounting, risk and compliance services to the Firm’s international and Irish clients. In addition to his financial audit experience, Pauric has experience in reviewing internal controls, specifically IT General Controls (ITGCs), and governance processes as part of financial statement and statutory audits. He has experience reviewing, documenting and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assessing the effectiveness of control frameworks.

Pauric has performed independent IT General Controls testing for some of Ireland’s largest credit unions and regularly reviews SOC 1 Type I and Type II reports as part of audits of financial services entities. More recently, he undertook SOC 1 controls testing for a self-administered fund, ensuring compliance with AIFMD requirements. Through this work, he has developed experience in independently assessing governance, risk and control environments, reviewing the design and operating effectiveness of key controls, and providing constructive challenge to management. He has also gained experience reviewing policies and standard operating procedures and assessing whether control frameworks operate effectively within regulated financial services organisations.
