EisnerAmper Ireland support BeLonG To Young Services

On Friday 15 June 2018,  EisnerAmper Ireland’s Niamh Hickey, Ketri Kivi, Lauren Bolster and Sarah Ryan participated in a table quiz, organised by Intertrust, to raise funds for BeLonG To Youth Services .

Our team had a great time, finishing in joint 3rd place with their knowledge of Eurovision winners, current events, geography and other pop culture trivia in addition to taking home two raffle prizes.

We care about business and we care about the people we work with in business.

BeLonG To are a youth services organisation who provide free counselling and support services to young members of Ireland’s LGBT community. The organisation work every day to help eradicate bullying in schools and provide advice to parents and family members of LGBT children. To learn more about BeLong to, or to donate, click here.

EisnerAmper Ireland supports Temple Street Children’s Hospital

On Friday, June 15 2018, EisnerAmper Ireland held a bake sale in its Dublin office in aid of Temple Street Children’s Hospital. EisnerAmper’s staff and colleagues in the local business community assisted in baking some delicious treats in aid of the children’s hospital in Dublin.

EisnerAmper Ireland is taking part in a number of events this summer in aid of Temple Street Hospital, which cares for 150,000 children each year in Ireland, and will be taking part in Techies4TempleStreet this summer.

We care about business and we care about the people we work with in business.

Techies4TempleStreet, now in its 4th year, sees over 1,500 members of the Irish business and tech communities taking to the streets of Dublin for a unique treasure trail, combining outdoor activities with digital media challenges whilst making an impact to the lives of sick children across Ireland. On Wednesday May 30, 2018, EisnerAmper Ireland hosted Learn, Dine, Connect: Structured Finance technical & industry updates in Shanahan’s on the Green.  The event was a great opportunity to discuss the important challenges that are currently being faced by Structured Finance vehicles, and also to look to the future and highlight any potential developments that may affect the industry going forward.  Topics discussed on the night were:

EisnerAmper Ireland attend CASSD table quiz in aid of DEBRA Ireland

We had a great time last night at the CASSD table quiz in aid of DEBRA Ireland, where over €400 was raised in the raffle.  DEBRA Ireland is the national charity which provides patient support services to families living with EB (epidermolysis bullosa), a genetic skin condition, in Ireland. EisnerAmper Ireland hosts coffee morning for Daffodil Day 2018

On Friday 23 March 2018, EisnerAmper Ireland hosted a coffee morning in aid of the Irish Cancer Society for Daffodil Day 2018.  It was great to support an excellent cause while enjoying some delicious cakes made by our hardworking EisnerAmper Ireland team.

Each year Daffodil Day sees thousands of volunteers selling daffodil pins and flowers on streets, in businesses, homes and in shopping centres across Ireland; or hosting a Daffodil Day Coffee Morning to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society’s nationwide care services for those with, and affected by, cancer in Ireland. EisnerAmper Ireland take part in Christmas Charity initiatives for SVP and Focus Ireland

EisnerAmper Ireland has taken part in two charity initiatives over the Christmas period, raising money for Focus Ireland and St. Vincent de Paul.

On Friday 15 December, EisnerAmper Ireland held a Christmas Jumper Day, with EAI’s staff wearing Christmas Jumpers to work in aid of Focus Ireland.  Focus Ireland works with people who are homeless or are at risk of losing their homes across Ireland.  They offer individuals and families, advice, support, education and housing to help people to have and keep a home.  All of us at EisnerAmper Ireland are delighted to support such a great charity, especially at Christmas time.

EisnerAmper Ireland is also supporting St. Vincent de Paul (SPV) this Christmas by taking part in the Giving Tree campaign.  SVP provide local families in need at Christmas with support and Christmas gifts for children. We are delighted to be involved in such a great cause during the holiday season.

EisnerAmper Ireland takes part in Run in the Dark 2017

On 22 November 2017, EisnerAmper Ireland’s Daniel Hartigan, Operations Executive; Thomas Territt, Semi-Senior in International Business; Barry Horan, Senior in International Business; Michéal Ó CualáinTrainee in Tax and Darragh Connolly, Intern in Tax took part in Run in the Dark 2017 in Dublin, joining thousands of runners to support ongoing research to find a cure for paralysis. The Dublin event left from Custom House Quay at 8.00pm.

Run in the Dark is run in association with the Mark Pollock Trust, whose mission is to cure spinal cord injuries by fast-tracking a cure for paralysis.

EisnerAmper Ireland take part in Techies4TempleStreet 2017

EisnerAmper Ireland is proud to have been a participant in the 2017 Techies4TemplesStreet event, which took place on Friday 7 July 2017.  Techies4Templestreet is a unique charity event that brings together the technology community and its partners to network and compete in an intellectually challenging treasure trail while making an impact on the lives of the next generation of techies.

The EAI team, led by Jennifer Kelly, Partner and Head of Outsourcing and consisting of EisnerAmper’s staff, clients and contacts, met in Dublin’s RDS with the other participating teams.   The teams were faced with questions, clues and different challenges and used Twitter on the day to record their progress.

The event attracted over 1,300 participants from Ireland’s tech and business communities, ranging from start-ups to MNCs.  It was a fantastic opportunity to network and compete in an intellectually challenging event while simultaneously helping to support a good cause.
