On Friday 18th of September, a group of 8 EisnerAmper Ireland staff headed to the Royal Irish Yacht Club in Dún Laoghaire for a charity sailing event, organised by the Down Syndrome Centre.

Team EisnerAmper paired with the J109 Yacht, “Jigamaree” and its skippers, David and Gordon.

Unfortunately, the wind was not in our favour, and a decision was made to abandon the race but team enjoyed the views and spotted some dolphins nevertheless. After all the yachts came into dock, we enjoyed a lovely barbeque on dry land and congratulated the crew of “Dear Prudence” who had won the race. Last but not least, a raffle was held, and our own Aoife O’Leary won a fabulous night away in Killiane Castle Country House & Farm.

We would like to thank the Down Syndrome Centre and everyone involved for a wonderful day – we were delighted to be involved with such a great cause.
