EisnerAmper joins LauraLynn for 150k in February Challenge

EisnerAmper Ireland is delighted to announce the continuation of our partnership with LauraLynn Children’s Hospice for the fourth year running. EisnerAmper’s partnership with LauraLynn helps the charity to support children with life-limiting conditions and their families to live as fulfilling lives as possible.

EisnerAmper is delighted to be participating in LauraLynn’s first fundraiser of 2023 – 150k in February Challenge. The charity initiative is running from 1 to 28 February and our team members have been set the task of either walking, jogging or running 150k over the course of the month while raising money for the charity through our group JustGiving page. As part of our happy, healthy and productive Firm, this challenge is the perfect opportunity to blow away the January cobwebs and for our team members to get together outside of the office and raise funds for such a worthy cause.

LauraLynn Children’s Hospice fundraises and supports children and families from all 26 counties with the aim of enhancing the quality of life for families in their care.

EisnerAmper hosts Christmas Party and ‘Doing Great Work Awards’ for 2022

On Friday 16 December, EisnerAmper Ireland hosted its annual Christmas Party and our sixth Annual Employee Awards in Merrion Cricket Club, Donnybrook, Dublin 4.

The evening included a drinks reception and dinner, EisnerAmper Ireland’s annual ‘Doing Great Work Awards’, and music by our very own talented team members.

The awards were presented to EisnerAmper Ireland’s team members who have demonstrated how they “love doing great work” in 2022.  The winners were awarded a crystal plaque to celebrate their achievements by Frank Keane, Partner and Cian Collins, Partner. The areas staff were asked to vote on were “Quality”, “People”, “Operational Excellence” and “Design Thinking & Growth”, bringing to life the elements of our Firm’s Art of Practice.  The winners for 2022 were:

Team EisnerAmper supports Run in the Dark 2022

On 9 November 2022, members of the EisnerAmper team joined thousands of runners partaking in Run in the Dark. Run in the Dark is the main fundraiser for the Mark Pollock Trust which is aiming to find a cure for paralysis in our lifetime. This is the sixth consecutive year ‘Team EisnerAmper’ has participated in Run in the Dark.

Unbroken by blindness in 1998, adventure athlete Mark Pollock was left paralysed in 2010. Now, with the team at the Mark Pollock Trust, Mark is exploring the intersection where humans and technology collide, catalysing collaborations that have never been done before and in doing so unlocking $1 billion to find a cure for paralysis in our lifetime.

We were delighted that this year’s event was held in person again for the first time since 2019. Our team joined thousands of other participants at North Dock, Dublin City to begin their race at 8pm. Following the impact of Covid-19, Run in the Dark also created an app to allow participants to run safely within their own area. This year participants could use the app to still virtually join others walking or running 5k and 10k around the world.

EisnerAmper hosts The Academy 2022

The EisnerAmper Ireland Academy 2022, the Firm’s annual all-staff residential training programme, was held for the eleventh year running over 2 days in Seafield Hotel, County Wexford.

The theme for this year’s Academy was ‘Delivering Client Service Excellence’ and it followed our Mid-Year Academy which was held in April. We had an action packed line up of key-note speakers, skills workshops, plenary sessions and team building exercises reaffirming our commitment to ‘Delivering Client Service Excellence’.

The Academy is a key part of our Firm’s all-staff training programme and is specifically designed for our professionals to accelerate their “on the job” learning and to facilitate their journey towards becoming not just great accountants but exceptional advisers and practitioners. EisnerAmper Hosts Halloween Quiz in aid of LauraLynn

The Team at EisnerAmper was delighted to raise funds for our charity partner LauraLynn Children’s Hospice by organising a Halloween staff fundraiser quiz and raffle.

The quiz was held in our office with Halloween themed rounds from scary movies to scary TV shows. Following the quiz, a raffle was held with prizes kindly donated by the local Sandyford business community including Your Local Pharmacy, The Gables and Zambrero. We are proud to have raised over €500 which will be donated to LauraLynn’s Children’s Hospice.

EisnerAmper Ireland is delighted to have completed LauraLynn’s September Dog Walking Challenge.

The charity initiative ran from the 1^st – 3o^th of September and our team members were set the task of walking their dogs each day during the month, while raising funds for LauraLynn through our JustGiving page.

This challenge was the perfect opportunity for dog owners amongst our team to get together outside of the office and raise funds for our charity partner.

EisnerAmper was delighted to host a Coffee & Cookie morning in our office in aid of LauraLynn to celebrate their 11th birthday. The coffee morning was hosted with an all you can eat homemade cookie buffet made by EisnerAmper Ireland’s former colleague Jeff Landers of Don’t You Dairy. The coffee morning was the perfect opportunity for our team to get together in the office and raise funds for our charity partner.

EisnerAmper Ireland Summer BBQ 2022

On Thursday, 25 August 2022, the team at EisnerAmper Ireland was delighted to host the Firm’s annual Summer Games and BBQ in Wanderers Rugby Club.

The EisnerAmper Ireland team enjoyed an afternoon of games and activities, including giant chess, connect four, footpool, limbo, boules, snakes and ladders and jenga. The games were followed by a delicious BBQ, drinks, and live music by Mark Dillon at the venue.

The BBQ was a great success and provided an opportunity for newer members of our team to get to know the rest of the Firm. A selection of photographs from the event can be found below.

EisnerAmper completes LauraLynn’s Swim 5k in July Challenge

EisnerAmper Ireland is proud to have completed LauraLynn’s summer fundraiser – Swim 5k in July Challenge.

The charity initiative ran from the 1^st – 31st of July and members of our team were set the challenge of swimming 5k over the course of the month, while raising money for the charity through our group JustGiving page. Our team members excelled in the challenge and swam a total of 40k.

EisnerAmper supports St. Mary’s Leixlip GAA Annual Golf Classic

EisnerAmper Ireland was delighted to support St. Mary’s Leixlip GAA Annual Golf Classic recently.

Cian Collins, Partner at EisnerAmper, made a donation in support of the event and attended on the day with a team including David Carroll, Partner at EisnerAmper. The golf classic has been taking place for a number of years, growing to be one of the club’s most important fundraising and social events of the year.

The golf classic helps the club maintain and improve facilities while also contributing to, and providing funds for the running of teams.

The event had tremendous support with a full timesheet on the day. In addition, there was generous corporate tee box and family sponsorship support, for which the club was very grateful.
