The EisnerAmper Ireland Team was delighted to support, and attend, LauraLynn’s Annual Heroes Ball.
The Charity Ball took place on Saturday, 4 March in the Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin. It was a special night to celebrate all the Heroes who come through the doors of LauraLynn Children’s Hospice. We are delighted to be partnering with LauraLynn as a Corporate Partner for the fourth year running, helping LauraLynn to support children with life-limiting conditions and their families to live as fulfilling lives as possible.
The Heroes Ball has become known as one of the most fun-filled charity balls in the calendar. The Ball, which was hosted by Miriam O’Callaghan, included a gala dinner and drinks along with entertainment from Perfect Day. The night also included a Charity Auction hosted by Alan Shortt with prizes including art, holidays, and personal training sessions.
LauraLynn Children’s Hospice’s mission is to provide a Community of Care that delivers evidence-based, personalised services to children with palliative care needs, complex care needs and complex disabilities, while also providing family support services and a home to their residents where quality-of-life is paramount.

On Thursday 23rd February, we were delighted to host our first EisnerAmper Alumni Reunion since 2019 in the Blue Room at the Dean Hotel. It was a fantastic evening and provided an opportunity for both current and former team members to catch up while enjoying delicious food and drinks in the heart of Dublin.
Alastair MacDonald, Managing Partner, welcomed our guests and emphasised the importance of our Alumni Community to EisnerAmper. It also provided an opportunity to update our Alumni on the Firm’s progress including the appointment of seven new Partners since 2019.

EisnerAmper Ireland is delighted to announce the continuation of our partnership with LauraLynn Children’s Hospice for the fourth year running. EisnerAmper’s partnership with LauraLynn helps the charity to support children with life-limiting conditions and their families to live as fulfilling lives as possible.
EisnerAmper is delighted to be participating in LauraLynn’s first fundraiser of 2023 – 150k in February Challenge. The charity initiative is running from 1 to 28 February and our team members have been set the task of either walking, jogging or running 150k over the course of the month while raising money for the charity through our group JustGiving page. As part of our happy, healthy and productive Firm, this challenge is the perfect opportunity to blow away the January cobwebs and for our team members to get together outside of the office and raise funds for such a worthy cause.
LauraLynn Children’s Hospice fundraises and supports children and families from all 26 counties with the aim of enhancing the quality of life for families in their care.

On Friday 16 December, EisnerAmper Ireland hosted its annual Christmas Party and our sixth Annual Employee Awards in Merrion Cricket Club, Donnybrook, Dublin 4.
The evening included a drinks reception and dinner, EisnerAmper Ireland’s annual ‘Doing Great Work Awards’, and music by our very own talented team members.

We are delighted to announce the expansion of our leadership team with our appointment of Peter MacDonald as Audit and ESG Advisory Partner.
Peter’s appointment represents a further strengthening of our teams advising the Financial Services, International Business and Government sectors while adding significant experience and expertise to our Partner group and our team of specialist accountants, tax advisors and risk & regulatory experts.
As ESG Advisory Partner, Peter leads our ESG compliance and reporting services and advises clients on embedding ESG and sustainability within their strategy, operations and reporting. As Audit Partner, Peter provides audit services to leading Irish corporates and international companies doing business in and through Ireland.
With 30 years audit and advisory leadership experience, Peter served as partner with the Big 4 in Ireland and internationally. EisnerAmper Ireland was delighted to host a screening of Matilda The Musical on Saturday afternoon, 26 November, in Movies @ Dundrum for friends of the Firm and their families.
Following the very successful multi-award-winning musical from the Royal Shakespeare Company, inspired by the beloved book by Roald Dahl, Matilda tells the story of an extraordinary girl who, armed with a sharp mind and a vivid imagination, dares to take a stand to change her story against her cruel family and school teacher with miraculous results.
It was a most enjoyable afternoon and provided an opportunity for friends of the Firm to catch up with members of our team and enjoy the exclusive screening.

Latest News →Team EisnerAmper supports Run in the Dark 2022
On 9 November 2022, members of the EisnerAmper team joined thousands of runners partaking in Run in the Dark. Run in the Dark is the main fundraiser for the Mark Pollock Trust which is aiming to find a cure for paralysis in our lifetime. This is the sixth consecutive year ‘Team EisnerAmper’ has participated in Run in the Dark.
Unbroken by blindness in 1998, adventure athlete Mark Pollock was left paralysed in 2010. Now, with the team at the Mark Pollock Trust, Mark is exploring the intersection where humans and technology collide, catalysing collaborations that have never been done before and in doing so unlocking $1 billion to find a cure for paralysis in our lifetime.
We were delighted that this year’s event was held in person again for the first time since 2019. Our team joined thousands of other participants at North Dock, Dublin City to begin their race at 8pm. Following the impact of Covid-19, Run in the Dark also created an app to allow participants to run safely within their own area. This year participants could use the app to still virtually join others walking or running 5k and 10k around the world.

The EisnerAmper Ireland Academy 2022, the Firm’s annual all-staff residential training programme, was held for the eleventh year running over 2 days in Seafield Hotel, County Wexford.
The theme for this year’s Academy was ‘Delivering Client Service Excellence’ and it followed our Mid-Year Academy which was held in April. We had an action packed line up of key-note speakers, skills workshops, plenary sessions and team building exercises reaffirming our commitment to ‘Delivering Client Service Excellence’.

Recognised as Irelands most glamorous night for professional women, the Gala was attended by more than 1,500 women from Ireland’s legal, accounting, finance, consulting, banking, media and tech sectors. The evening involved a champagne and cocktail reception, inspiring speeches from both Cally Beaton, Comedian and Broadcaster, and Merryn Somerset Webb, Editor in chief of Moneyweek, along with the opportunity to see the best fashion that Irish retail has to showcase with the Look the Business fashion show.

On Thursday, 27 October, EisnerAmper Ireland hosted its first Learn, Dine & Connect update since 2019. The technical and industry update focused on Regulated Financial Services Providers (RFSPs) – Sustainability, Accountability & Culture.
The event took place in Shanahan’s on the Green, with guests enjoying a three-course meal and drinks in between presentations. The event gave our speakers the opportunity to share their insights and experiences of Sustainability, Accountability and Culture issues impacting Boards and Management, and a discussion on how these issues can be addressed using smart solutions.

The Team at EisnerAmper was delighted to raise funds for our charity partner LauraLynn Children’s Hospice by organising a Halloween staff fundraiser quiz and raffle.
The quiz was held in our office with Halloween themed rounds from scary movies to scary TV shows. Following the quiz, a raffle was held with prizes kindly donated by the local Sandyford business community including Your Local Pharmacy, The Gables and Zambrero. We are proud to have raised over €500 which will be donated to LauraLynn’s Children’s Hospice.
